This shipping & Delivery Policy is part of Grooming Services Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and should therefore be read alongside the main Terms & conditions which can be located by clicking HERE
Carefully review the Shipping and Delivery Policy when purchasing products. This policy applies to any orders which are placed with us on any platforms – digital, written or verbal.
What is Grooming Services Shipping & Delivery options?
1) In-Store Pickup & Collections
In-Store pickup and collections is available for ALL purchases. If a Third-party is used to collect then they are legally required to provide written proof of collect (e.g waybill from Courier company).
In-Store Pickups are made available Monday – Friday 07:30am to 16:00pm & Saturday 09:00am to 13:00pm. No pickups available on Sunday or Public Holidays.
Kindly note that no products will not be made available or dispatched until payment, or proof thereof, has been made. If a payment has been made and no proof of payment has been delivered then client will be subject to waiting until payment has reflected in the account.
2) Local Company Delivery
Grooming Services offers a local delivery service which covers specific areas in the greater Gauteng region, on specific days during the week. The areas in Gauteng are allocated as follows:
Monday – Johannesburg North and South areas
Tuesday – Greater Pretoria area and surrounding areas
Wednesday – East Rand area
Thursday – Johannesburg North and South areas
Friday – Greater Pretoria and surrounding areas
Each trip is charged at R95.00inclu VAT PER collection/delivery unless client has spent over R2 500.00inclu VAT then the delivery is free, unless parcel exceeds 20kg weight limit.
Kindly note that no products will not be made available or dispatched until payment, or proof thereof, has been made. If a payment has been made and no proof of payment has been delivered, then client will be subject to waiting until payment has reflected in the account.
3) Local – Nation Wide Delivery (Partner with Courier Guy)
Grooming Services works proudly in partnership with Courier Guy and makes use of their services for all products that need to be delivered/collected in the entire South African area. Certain areas in Gauteng are handled by Courier Guy and not Grooming Services due to various factors which have been considered.
For local and nationwide delivery, the charges are set at R205.00inclu VAT PER delivery/collection but not exceeding a 15kg weight limit. If weight limit is exceeded, then Grooming Services reserves the right to weigh and measure each parcel/s and adjust the charge according to the fair delivery rate according to courier guy – unless arranged otherwise with management and in a signed agreement. Standard courier delivery times are applied which means 1 – 2 days for local deliveries and 2 – 5 days for national deliveries.
4) International Delivery
Grooming Services welcomes business from all corners of the world and works closely with Wholesale, Retail, Veterinary practices and Grooming Parlours all over the world but does not offer a shipping service. The arrangement of international shipping is the sole responsibility of the client and does not fall upon Grooming Services. Grooming Services however can assist the client and arrange for international shipment but the charges involved will be billed to the client accordingly – there is no set rate.
Shipment/Delivery restrictions
Grooming Services is a registered wholesale/retail outlet and only takes responsibility for items in their possession or being delivered through their offered services, i.e Local company delivery method. Goods which are collected by third party methods such as courier services or family/friends arranged by client, is not the responsibility of Grooming Services, as such cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage suffered after dispatched. Goods in Transit cover is offered separately by Courier Guy at an additional charge of 2% of the whole invoice, not exceeding R35 000.00 total, and by client request only.
After parcel/s has been dispatched it is no longer the responsibility of Grooming Services for any loss, damage, neglect, injury, theft or negligence. Any issues with the parcel/s after dispatch is the sole responsibility of the client and does not involve Grooming Services unless situation dictates otherwise.
Order/Delivery Delay
If delivery is delayed for any reason then Grooming Services will use the contact information which has been provided by the client to contact them and notify them about the issue and delay. Grooming Services will notify the client on the specific reason/s for the delay and provide an estimated date for delivery but retains the right to subject to change if the situation changes or becomes worse and delays continue.
